The Melville Turret is a landmark building in Melville, Johannesburg and was built in 1906 by Erik van den Berg who owned a bicycle shop in downtown Johannesburg.
Over the years the house has been used for many purposes; private residence, boarding house, architects offices, back packers lodge and now a guest house. The house has recently been renovated, with a mix of traditional and contemporary - the result being an eclectic mix, but still remaining true to the original splendor of the property.
The house is stylishly decorated to create a warm and homely atmosphere for the enjoyment of our guests.
